BAGHDAD, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The Iraqi Health Ministry on Monday confirmed four more deaths from COVID-19 and 83 new cases, bringing the total number of the infections to 630.
The new cases are 14 in the capital Baghdad, 18 in Najaf, 14 in Sulaimaniyah, 12 in Muthanna, 10 in Basra and Erbil each, three in Karbala, and two in Duhok, the ministry said in a statement.
So far, 630 cases have been confirmed, 46 of whom have died and 152 others recovered, according to the ministry statement.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi government decided to extend the nationwide curfew until April 11 to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
