FRANKFURT, April 2 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 26.07 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 9,570.82 points.
Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel and manufacturing and electronics company Siemens won the most among the blue chips, both with its shares up 3.22 percent. Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard rose by 2.68 percent.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 5.80 percent. Deutsche Bank and energy group E.ON went down by 1.68 percent and 1.54 percent, respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most-traded share with a turnover of 405.9 million euros (446.6 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
