Lebanon's COVID-19 cases rise to 582

BEIRUT, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's number of COVID-19 cases increased on Thursday by seven to 582 while the death toll remained at 19, the National News Agency reported.

In addition, 29 are in critical condition, the health ministry noted, as the country has increased its general mobilization measures in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.

Lebanon has sent in the past few days a few flights to bring back its citizens stranded in infected countries. Enditem
