Vietnam's COVID-19 cases increase to 257

HANOI, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Friday confirmed two new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total in the country to 257.

Both of the new cases are Vietnamese, one of whom recently returned from Russia and the other is reportedly related to an earlier confirmed case, according to the ministry.

As of Friday evening, Vietnam saw 144 COVID-19 cases cured, with no deaths reported, while there were 2,544 suspected cases with nearly 75,000 being monitored and quarantined in the country, according to the ministry. Enditem
