ULAN BATOR, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's National Center for Communicable Disease (NCCD) confirmed on Sunday one more case of COVID-19, raising the total number to 32.

"A total of 104 tests for COVID-19 were conducted at two laboratories of the NCCD yesterday and one of them tested positive," Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said at a press conference.

The patient is one of over 280 Mongolian nationals who have recently been evacuated from Russia on buses via Altanbulag border point amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, two people have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to seven, Nyamkhuu said, adding that the two are Turkish nationals.

All the 32 confirmed cases are imported ones.

A French national tested positive for the virus on March 10, becoming the first case in Mongolia. Enditem
