BEIRUT, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon recorded on Sunday only one new COVID-19 case, the lowest single-day increase since the outbreak of the disease in the country, the National News Agency reported.

The total tally of infections has risen to 673 after the new case was added, according to the health ministry.

The ministry said it is conducting random tests in areas that have not witnessed serious commitment to the general mobilization imposed by the government.

The ministry has also launched an application allowing people to make appointments with physicians if they suspect they are infected with the virus. Enditem
