Tunisia reports 5 new COVID-19 cases, 884 in total

TUNIS, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Ministry of Health reported on Monday night five new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number in the country to 884.

"Following a total of 1,189 lab tests, 30 cases tested positive, of which five were new cases and 25 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus," said the ministry in a statement.

A total of 148 patients have recovered in Tunisia while 38 deaths were reported in 13 provinces, according to the ministry statement.

The COVID-19 is spread across the 24 provinces in the North African country, with 407 cases in Grand Tunis area which has four provinces. Enditem
