Sierra Leone extends lockdown, curfew over rising COVID-19 cases

FREETOWN, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Sierra Leone has extended inter-district partial lockdown and curfew "till further notice", which takes effect on Sunday, the government has said.

According to a notice published by the country's COVID-19 National Response Emergency Operations Center, the curfew starts from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Besides, people conveying goods and services should file applications online during this period.

Sierra Leone recorded seven new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 93 with four deaths.
