Zambia reports 7 new COVID-19 cases

LUSAKA, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Zambia on Wednesday reported seven new COVID-19 cases, health officials said.

The new cases were picked out of 468 tests conducted and they brought the cumulative figure to 146 since March 18.

Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya said the country discharged 9 patients from isolation facilities, bringing the total of those discharged to 101.

The number of people still in isolation facilities stands at 41. Enditem
