COVID-19 cases reach 1331 in Djibouti

ADDIS ABABA, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Djibouti's Ministry of Health on Saturday announced 22 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Horn of Africa nation to 1331.

The Djiboutian Ministry of Health disclosed that from a total of 228 people who were tested over the last 24 hours, 22 were tested positive for the virus.

The ministry also announced that some 950 people who have been infected with the COVID-19 have recovered.

Djibouti has so far conducted a total of about 17,106 COVID-19 tests, according to the Djibouti Ministry of Health, which has reported four COVID-19 deaths.
