FRANKFURT, May 22 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 7.94 points, or 0.07 percent, to close at 11,073.87 points.
Reinsurance company Munich Re won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 1.82 percent. Housing association Vonovia and automotive supplier Continental rose by 1.41 percent and 1.34 percent respectively.
German airlines Lufthansa lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.16 percent. Deutsche Post and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer went down by 1.08 percent and 0.95 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 260.7 million euros (284.3 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
