SARAJEVO, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Edin Dzeko, captain of Roma and Bosnia-Herzegovina's national team, is branching out into business as he approaches the twilight of his career.

Dzeko is considered one of Europe's best strikers, but at 34 years old, is aware that he does not have much time left before the inevitable end of his career. In April last year, Dzeko opened a cafe and hookah bar in a leading district of Dubrovnik, a world-famous tourist destination in Croatia.

Dzeko entered into this project with friend and city councilor of the Croatian People's Party, Miho Obradovic.

There is no doubt that this business move by Dzeko is a complete success. Considering that Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful cities on the planet and the center of elite tourism in the region, the city where the world's biggest stars and personalities come, it is clear what potential this project has.

"Suffice it to say that Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed Dzeko's bar, to understand how Edin Dzeko provided himself with a money-making machine after the end of his career," a well-known newspaper Liberation said. Enditem
