FRANKFURT, May 26 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 113.37 points, or 1.00 percent, to close at 11,504.65 points.
Deutsche Bank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 8.25 percent. German airlines Lufthansa and automotive supplier Continental gained 6.83 percent and 5.96 percent, respectively.
Marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group, pharmaceutical company Merck and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical were the top three losers among the blue chips, falling 2.74 percent, 2.59 percent and 2.35 percent, respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 324.6 million euros (356.2 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
