BUCHAREST -- Romanian and Hungarian foreign ministers met on Tuesday to improve bilateral relations of trust and mutual respect.

TOKYO -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on Wednesday struck off the Miyakojima Island region of Okinawa Prefecture in Japan, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).

The temblor occurred at around 6:19 p.m. local time, with its epicenter at a latitude of 24.8 degrees north and a longitude of 125.4 degrees east, and at a depth of 50 km. (Japan-Quake)

DHAKA -- Bangladesh confirmed 22 more fatalities from the COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the country's death toll to 544.

Nasima Sultana, a senior health ministry official, told an online media briefing in Dhaka that "1,541 new COVID-19 positive cases and 22 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours across Bangladesh."
