GENEVA, June 2 (Xinhua) -- The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced on Tuesday that it will hold a hearing for Russia's appeal against a 2019 ban on November 2-5.
Russia was banned by WADA for four years in December of last year after an investigation found that doping data from a Moscow laboratory had been manipulated before being handed over to investigators.
The WADA ban means only individual athletes from Russia who have proved they are clean will be allowed to take part at the Olympics or world championships. Those athletes will have to compete as neutrals as the ban prohibits Russians from competing under the nation's flag. Enditem
