ACCRA, June 4 (Xinhua) -- The number of Ghana's COVID-19 cases jumps to 8,885 with 337 new cases confirmed Thursday, Ghana Health Service (GHS) said.

According to GHS, the West African country has recorded a total of 3,189 recoveries and 38 deaths from the pandemic.

Ghana's Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture said on Thursday that Ghana Tourism Authority would deploy inspectors to ensure that all hotels, restaurants, conferences, and event centers should abide by the safety protocols amid the pandemic.
