JERUSALEM -- Israeli warplanes on Friday carried out air strikes on Hamas targets in the southern Gaza Strip in response to a rocket attack, said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in a statement.

WASHINGTON -- The victims of COVID-19 in the United States appear to be younger than those in other hard-hit rich countries, and the reason could be obesity.

About 60 percent of all deaths from COVID-19 in the developed countries afflicted heavily by the disease were aged 80 and over. ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has conveyed its readiness to the Indian side to reopen Kartarpur corridor on June 29 to allow Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit a holy shrine in Pakistan, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said on Saturday.
