Vietnam records 2 new COVID-19 cases

HANOI, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing its total confirmed cases to 355 with zero deaths so far, according to the Ministry of Health.

The latest cases were two Vietnamese women recently returning to the country from Kuwait, said the ministry, noting that they were quarantined upon arrival and are being treated in Hanoi capital city.

Meanwhile, as many as 330 patients in the country have totally recovered from the disease, said the ministry.

Vietnam has recorded no local transmission for 72 straight days while there are over 7,800 people being quarantined and monitored in the country, according to the health ministry. Enditem
