WASHINGTON -- The White House denied Saturday that President Donald Trump had been briefed on intelligence that Russians offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing coalition troops.

"The CIA Director, National Security Advisor, and the Chief of Staff can all confirm that neither the President nor the Vice President were briefed on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence," White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement. (US-Trump-Russia)

LOS ANGELES -- At least two people were killed and four others injured Saturday afternoon in a shooting in Red Bluff, a city in Tehama County in California, according to local media.

The shooting happened at a Walmart distribution center right when a new group of workers started their shift. There was also a fire at the location, and the suspect appeared to have rammed a vehicle into the building, reported the Record Searchlight, a local news outlet in nearby city of Redding, citing emergency dispatchers. SINGAPORE -- Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday that a global pandemic requires a coordinated global response, especially in scientific research and government actions.

NEW DELHI -- India's federal health ministry Sunday morning said 410 new deaths due to COVID-19, besides fresh 19,906 positive cases, were reported during the past 24 hours across the country, taking the number of deaths to 16,095 and total cases to 528,859.
