Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases, total confirmed cases remaining at 355

HANOI, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 infection on Monday, with its total confirmed cases remaining at 355 with zero deaths so far.

Meanwhile, five more COVID-19 patients were announced to have recovered from the disease today, bringing the total cured cases in the country to 335, said the ministry.

Vietnam has recorded no local transmission for 74 straight days while there are over 10,000 people being quarantined and monitored in the country, according to a report by Vietnam News Agency. Enditem
