FRANKFURT, June 29 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index up 142.73 points, or 1.18 percent, to close at 12,232.12 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 154.49 percent. Deutsche Bank and material manufacturer Covestro gained by 3.65 percent and 2.97 percent respectively.
Energy group RWE, housing association Deutsche Wohnen and personal-care company Beiersdorf were the top three losers, down by 2.10 percent, 1.14 percent and 0.79 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 320.0 million euros (361.1 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
