WASHINGTON -- The United States should restore sanctions against Russian intelligence and defense sectors, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday after being briefed by top intelligence officials on the Russian-Taliban bounty intelligence.

Pelosi said at a press briefing that the White House had previously asked the Congress to "take out the sanctions on Russia that pertained to the intelligence and the defense sectors, the very sector that is accused of possible threats on our men and women in uniform."

UNITED NATIONS -- A new UN report called on governments and other decision-makers to remove obstacles to youth social entrepreneurship, such as access to start-up funds.

"Creating pathways for youth social entrepreneurship can generate positive outcomes for everyone," said Liu Zhenmin, UN undersecretary-general for economic and social affairs, in a press release. "When supported by enabling policies and programs, social entrepreneurship can represent a great way for young people to earn a living, and improve the world around them." PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Friday that casinos across the kingdom will be allowed to resume operations if they meet requirements for COVID-19 prevention at their facilities, a spokesman and an official said.

Hun Sen made the decision during a weekly Cabinet meeting after the situation of the COVID-19 had stabilized, government spokesman Phay Siphan wrote on his Facebook page.
