KABUL, July 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake jolted Afghan capital Kabul on Monday.
The tremor occurred at around 8:36 p.m. (1606 GMT) and no details of possible damage and casualties were reported as of 9:15 p.m. local time.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) put the tremor at a magnitude of 4.6.
Afghanistan's Ministry for Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs has not issued any statement yet.
