ULAN BATOR, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign trade turnover decreased by 22.6 percent year on year in the first half of 2020, according to data released by the Mongolian Customs General Administration (MCGA) on Monday.

Mongolia's foreign trade turnover in the first six months of this year amounted to 5.2 billion U.S. dollars. Exports fell 28.2 percent to 2.8 billion dollars, while imports dropped 15 percent to 2.4 billion dollars.

The decrease in foreign trade is largely related to restrictive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, according to the MCGA. Enditem
