French shares edge down 0.07 pct

PARIS, July 23 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged down on Thursday with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.07 percent, or 3.36 points, to close at 5,033.76 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 22 went down in the day.
France-based 3D product design company Dassault Systemes went down by 3.78 percent, making it the top loser of the blue chips. French aeronautic giant Safran lost 2.73 percent and European multinational aerospace corporation Airbus shed 2.73 percent.
The top gainer of the blue chips was French multinational advertising and public relations company Publicis Groupe, which advanced 8.01 percent. French multinational automobile manufacturer Renault added 7.19 percent and French payment and transactional service company Worldline gained 4.11 percent. Enditem
