BEIRUT, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah denied on Monday exchanging fire with Israel in Shebaa Farms while vowing to revenge for the killing of a member of the Shiite political party in Syria last week, Al Manar local TV channel reported.
"The Islamic Resistance affirms that there has been no clash or shooting on its part in the events of the day until now. The shooting, came from the side of the enemy who is fearful, anxious and tense," a statement released by Hezbollah said.
Hezbollah also denied claims about thwarting an infiltration operation from Lebanon into occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the killing and injury for the resistance in the bombing operations that took place in the vicinity of occupied sites in the Shebaa Farms.
Moreover, Hezbollah vowed to revenge for the killing of Ali Kamel Mohsen, who was killed last week during an attack by Israel near Damascus international airport.
This news comes after several reports stating that Hezbollah fighters fired a rocket at an Israeli tank and carried out an operation in the occupied Shebaa Farms earlier in the day, sparking heavy clashes in the area. Enditem
