BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 26 km south of Sand Point, Alaska at 1934 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 44.13 km, was initially determined to be at 55.0965 degrees north latitude and 160.4806 degrees west longitude. Enditem
