AMMAN, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Jordan will hold parliamentary elections on November 10, the state-run Petra news agency reported on Wednesday.

The date was set hours after King Abdullah issued a royal decree ordering the parliamentary elections to be held.

Under the 2016 Elections Law, the Independent Election Commission will set the election date within ten days after the royal decree orders the parliamentary elections. Enditem
