MANILA -- Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the proposed 4.506-trillion-peso (91.65-billion-U.S. dollar) national budget for 2021, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said on Sunday.

In a statement, the DBM said Duterte approved the budget during a special meeting with the Development Budget Coordination Committee on July 30. (Philippines-Budget-Approval)

BEIJING -- China's crude oil output gained 1.5 percent year on year in the first half of 2020, data from the National Development and Reform Commission showed.

The output came in at 96.5 million tonnes for the January-June period, which saw 312.66 million tonnes of crude oil refined, up 2.4 percent year on year. (China-Crude-Production)

YANGON -- The Myanmar Investment Commission recently approved seven investment enterprises from home and abroad, local media quoted the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration as saying on Sunday.

KIGALI -- Rwandan airports on Saturday reopened to international travellers, more than four months after the central African nation suspended commercial passenger flights to mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak.
