Ghana reports 192 new COVID-19 cases, total reaches 41,404

ACCRA, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Ghana registered 192 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the national count to 41,404, according to the latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Meanwhile, 328 more patients were discharged from hospital, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,055, the GHS said.

The total death toll remained at 215 with no new deaths recorded in the past day, it added.

Currently, Ghana still keeps its borders closed and international flights suspended to curb a further spread of the coronavirus. Enditem
