NEW YORK, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted 245 km ESE of Atka in the U.S. state of Alaska at 20:05:48 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 51.1005 degrees north latitude and 171.1262 degrees west longitude. Enditem
