HONG KONG, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 163 km E of Kimbe, Papua New Guinea at 0500 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 93.1 km, was initially determined to be at 5.6749 degrees south latitude and 151.6064 degrees east longitude. Enditem
