RIYADH -- The Saudi-led coalition announced on Sunday its interception of a bomb-laden drone launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels toward the southern Saudi region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

On Friday, the coalition said it destroyed two drones flying toward the kingdom's southern region and border city Najran. (Saudi Arabia-Yemen-Houthis)

HANOI -- Member countries of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) are expected to hold a meeting in October on preparation work for the deal's signing within this year, a Vietnamese official said Sunday.

DAMASCUS -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad ordered the formation of a new government on Sunday, keeping top ministers unchanged, according to the state news agency SANA.
