KIEV, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that a meeting of the advisors to the leaders of the Normandy Four is expected on Sept. 11, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported.

"We should have a meeting of the Normandy format advisors on September 11. We expect certain proposals and decisions," said Zelensky during a briefing held in Sumy region on Tuesday.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said earlier that one of the topics of the upcoming talks would be the shelling of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed on Sept. 6. The attacks led to the first combat losses of the Ukrainian army since the beginning of the current truce.

The ongoing conflict in East Ukraine, which has claimed the lives of some 13,000 people and left as many as 30,000 wounded, started in April 2014. Enditem
