FRANKFURT, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 28.32 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 13,208.89 points.
Reinsurance company Munich Re lost 2.37 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by material manufacturer Covestro and multinational software corporation SAP which lost 2.28 percent and 1.09 percent respectively.
Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel gained 3.33 percent, becoming the top gainer. Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and automotive supplier Continental advanced 1.91 percent and 1.50 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 214.11 million euros (253.70 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 2.08 percent to close at 0.705 euros per share on Thursday. Enditem
