German shares close flat Monday

FRANKFURT, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down 9.18 points, or 0.07 percent, to close at 13,193.66 points.

Housing association Deutsche Wohnen lost 3.58 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by energy group RWE and marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group, which lost 1.59 percent and 1.30 percent respectively.

Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained 3.26 percent, becoming the top gainer. Automotive supplier Continental and material manufacturer Covestro advanced 2.70 percent and 1.68 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 148.06 million euros (175.84 million U.S. dollars).

China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.21 percent to close at 0.711 euros per share on Monday. Enditem
