FRANKFURT, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 47.25 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 13,208.12 points.
Energy group RWE lost 1.90 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by reinsurance company Munich Re and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies which lost 1.80 percent and 1.47 percent respectively.
European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero gained 2.36 percent, becoming the top gainer. European health care company Fresenius SE and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical advanced 0.70 percent and 0.64 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share, with a turnover of 213.04 million euros (251.32 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose 2.11 percent to close at 0.740 euros per share on Thursday. Enditem
