BANGKOK -- Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Tuesday told the press that he had already instructed authorities to seek help from Interpol to nab Red Bull scion Vorayuth Yoovidhya and have him extradited to Thailand to stand trial in the high-profile hit-and-run case that took place eight years ago.

KABUL -- Chinese company MCC 19 signed a contract with the Afghan government in the Presidential Palace on Tuesday to build 1,400 housing units in Kabul, a statement from the palace released here said.

CANBERRA -- The government of Australian state of South Australia (SA) announced on Tuesday that it would open its borders to New South Wales (NSW) subject to no community transmission occurring there.

Premier of South Australia state Steven Marshall said travelers from NSW to SA will no longer be subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine period from Thursday.

NEW DELHI -- India's federal Ministry of Health Tuesday said the country recorded highest single-day recoveries in the past 24 hours.

"In an unprecedented surge, India has recorded the highest number of single-day recoveries. More than 1 lakh (101,468) new recoveries have been registered in the last 24 hours in the country," the ministry said in a statement.
