Myanmar reports 334 new COVID-19 cases, 14 more deaths

YANGON, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported 334 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on Wednesday night, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The newly-confirmed cases brought the total number of infections in the country to 7,292.

A total of 14 deaths were also reported on Wednesday night, taking the death toll to 130, the release said.

According to the ministry, 2,085 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far.
