TEHRAN -- A training plane crashed in northern Iran on Friday and two people on board were injured, official IRNA news agency reported.

The plane crashed near Azadi Airport of Nazarabad town in Iran's Alborz province, 89 km to the northwest of capital Tehran, according to the report. (Iran-Crash-Injury)

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced Friday that it has conducted a successful test of a new sea-to-sea missile system.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish prosecutors on Friday ordered the detention of at least 76 academic personnels over their alleged links to a network believed to be behind a coup attempt in 2016.
