BISHKEK, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- China invariably supports the leading role of the United Nations (UN) by focusing the attention of international community on universal human values and international solidarity in the most important issues worldwide, political scientist from Kyrgyzstan Igor Shestakov told Xinhua in a recent interview.

Speaking about Chinese leader Xi Jinping's speech at the high-level meeting to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the UN, Shestakov said that Beijing is a supporter of adopting the consolidated international decisions within the UN framework by opposing the attempts of those states that seek to establish the dictate of one country within this organization.

Shestakov said that this is especially important today, when the world community is waging a difficult fight against the epidemiological threat.

"In this regard, the Chinese leader, speaking about the activities of the UN, quite naturally opposes unilateralism, persecution and attempts by any country to behave like the 'boss of the world'," he said.

The political scientist echoed the position of the Chinese leader, stressing that the games of world domination can damage not only interstate relations, but also many countries.

Shestakov said that such messages from the leadership of China are strategically important in the context of a pandemic that causes colossal damage to both the health of the planet's population and the socio-economic world processes.

The Kyrgyz expert lauded the "powerful weapon" Xi named against the epidemic, which is solidarity and cooperation," noting that it should become a concept of the world community, which, guided by the principles of the UN, can help the world overcome global problems.

The political scientist stressed that China with its experience of humanitarian, material and technical support to countries during the pandemic demonstrates interstate principles based on solidarity and cooperation.

"Despite all the current difficulties associated with the closure of borders, Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative has prospects of successful implementation, especially in the Central Asian region, which has extensive experience of mutually beneficial cooperation with China in such areas as regional trade, mining, hydropower," Shestakov said.

Kyrgyz expert Mars Sariev also stressed that Xi's speech emphasized the leading role of the UN, whose task is to maintain stability with the help of institutions on a global scale.

The expert noted that China's offering of a unique concept of a community with a shared future for mankind is based on the harmonious development of all countries.

"A community of shared future is a humanistic doctrine amid global crisis and humanity needs such a doctrine," he said, stressing that the idea has already found support in many countries.

Sariev also believes that the Belt and Road Initiative has great prospects and is an ambitious project that will contribute to the rapid growth of many countries.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyz sinologist and political scientist Aibolot Aidosov said that Xi, in his speech, clearly focused the attention of the world community on the challenges and problems that currently hinder the harmonious and peaceful development of mankind.

Aidosov noted that China, a victim of the global coronavirus pandemic, became the first country that has the most experience in fighting the disease, that's why Xi's proposal that international organizations should conduct a fair policy that takes into account the interests of all participants in world processes "sound convincing and truthful."

The expert believes that a wise and correct decision in this situation is to consolidate forces to defeat the disease.

"Only through joint actions can we achieve efficiency and results, and China, having deeply understood these truths, is ready today to be the first to lend a hand. This was one of the main messages in Xi Jinping's speech," he concluded. Enditem
