NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 295 km northwest of Ozernovskiy, Russia at 18:24:52 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 522.4 km, was initially determined to be at 52.698 degrees north latitude and 152.652 degrees east longitude. Enditem
