NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 47 km east of Kainantu, Papua New Guinea at 23:14:35 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 105.33 km, was initially determined to be at 6.2472 degrees south latitude and 146.2885 degrees east longitude. Enditem
