8.3 kg crystal meth, 10,000 ecstasy pills seized in Indonesia's Aceh

JAKARTA, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian National Narcotics Agency seized 8.3 kg crystal methamphetamine and 10,000 ecstasy pills in the country's province of Aceh, said a local official on Tuesday.
The Aceh provincial agency's head Heru Pranoto said the agency grabbed the drugs from a person identified as R in Aceh's city of Lhokseumawe, who planned to deliver the illicit goods to another person identified as Z in North Sumatra province's capital of Medan.
"They will distribute the drugs outside Aceh," Pranoto said.
The police who have detained R and Z for further legal process are now hunting down another drug dealer suspect.
If found guilty, the three suspects shall be charged with the narcotics law, which carries a penalty of 20-year imprisonment, life sentence or even death penalty. Enditem
