Singapore reports 4 new COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported four new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the country's total tally to 57,915.

All of the new cases are imported cases.

On Monday, 12 more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 57,819 patients have fully recovered from the coronavirus epidemic, the ministry said.

There are currently 34 patients being treated in hospital, and none of them are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 34 infected people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

Altogether 28 people have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection. Enditem
