KABUL -- At least 11 people were killed and over 20 others wounded in a suicide bomb blast rocking outside an education center in a western neighborhood of Afghanistan's capital of Kabul on Saturday, the local police said.

The explosion occurred roughly at 4:30 p.m. local time outside Kowsar-e-Danish, a private education center, when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest after being intercepted by the security guards of the facility, Kabul police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz told reporters via a text message. HANOI -- A traffic accident killed two people and injured four others in Vietnam's central province of Quang Ngai on Saturday, Vietnam News Agency reported.

A truck collided with a seven-seater car and then plunged into four houses after one of its tires blew out, killing two on the spot and leaving four others injured, according to the report. Among the four injured, two were in critical condition. (Vietnam-Accidents)

DAR ES SALAAM -- At least 13 people were killed on the spot and 11 others were seriously injured on Saturday morning after their mini-bus overturned in Tanzania's northwest region of Kagera.

Michael Mntenjele, Ngara district commissioner in Kagera region, said the mini-bus overturned three kilometers away from Ngara town at around 10 a.m., after its brakes failed when descending a steep hill. (Tanzania-Road Accident) Enditem
