URUMQI -- Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has identified 137 new asymptomatic cases of COVID-19, as of 2 p.m. on Sunday, local health authorities said.

All the new cases were reported in south Xinjiang's Kashgar Prefecture after a 17-year-old female villager from the prefecture's Shufu County was confirmed as an asymptomatic carrier of the virus on Saturday during routine nucleic acid testing. (China-Xinjiang COVID-19)

MUMBAI -- India's central bank governor Shaktikanta Das has tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

"I have tested COVID-19 positive. Asymptomatic. Feeling very much alright," Das, governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), said on his social media account. (India-Pandemic-RBI)
