NEW DELHI -- The Indian government's guidelines regarding relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions issued on Sept. 30 will remain in force until Nov. 30, a statement issued by the government said Tuesday.

MOGADISHU -- Three people were killed and an unknown number injured in the latest attack on the outskirts of Somalia's restive capital Mogadishu on Tuesday, a government official said.

Ismael Mukhtar Omar, government spokesman, said the militants shot dead a government official in Mogadishu's Kahda district after seizing his properties including a vehicle. (Somalia-Attack)

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Office of the National Water Resources (NWR) on Tuesday issued warnings for communities surrounding the country's six largest water reservoirs against the upcoming typhoon Molave.

TOKYO -- The Japanese government endorsed a bill on Tuesday to make novel coronavirus vaccinations free to all residents here.

DAR ES SALAAM -- Simon Sirro, Tanzanian police chief, said on Tuesday 42 people were arrested after allegedly attacking police officers who were overseeing distribution of ballot boxes in Zanzibar's Pemba Island.
