LA PAZ, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Representatives of Bolivia's incoming and outgoing administrations held their first transition meeting on Thursday for the handover of power.
Marianela Prada, representative of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), which won the Oct. 18 general elections, essentially requested the interim government stop making administrative decisions that could hamper the administration of president-elect Luis Arce, who will take office on Nov. 8.
"To avoid further complications, the outgoing government must make an immediate administrative halt ... because if it continues to take measures, all it does is compromise the economic and social policy of the country. Hopefully they will fulfill this request for the future of the country," Prada told the press. Enditem
