NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted 86 km WNW of Tari, Papua New Guinea at 18:01:44 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 31.47 km, was initially determined to be at 5.6 degrees south latitude and 142.2086 degrees east longitude. Enditem
